INJUNCTION DEFENSE
Please do not take the filing of an injunction lightly. Far too often someone is served with paperwork for a hearing on a final injunction and put off such a hearing as unimportant. A Final Injunction, for which you have notice, may have severe repercussions on your life and liberty. It may restrict you from traveling to certain areas, from contact with certain people, and may even effect the custody of your children, if applicable. If a Final Injunction is granted, the petitioner (the person applying for the injunction) may later file a police report that could expose you to up to a year in jail, and under certain circumstances, up to five years in prison. Please do not take the filing of an injunction lightly. Contact Orlando Family Law Attorney Kelley Davis or Orlando Family Law Attorney Chris Stephenson now.
