We must advise you about the following, so as not to cause any
confusion. We at Davis and Stephenson, P.L., want you to understand
that the information you obtain at this site is not, nor is it intended
to be, legal advice. You must contact an attorney, as different laws
and defenses apply to different situations. We invite you to contact us
through our contact form, phone, email, or other communication tool
that is available. We will be happy to assist you in your legal
situation after you retain us, but you cannot rely upon anything on
this site as actual advice, nor can we guarantee you that it is up to
date.
Nothing in this website is designed to create an attorney-client relationship on its face, meaning that you must consult and retain us in order to begin an attorney-client relationship, and thus be entitled to an attorney-client privilege. Please do not send any confidential information to us until such time as an attorney-client relationship has been established. That means, please only tell us information that is in a police report or that the opposing side already knows about.
The hiring of an attorney is a very important decision. We cannot stress that enough. As stated in the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct, "The hiring of a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely upon advertisements. Before you decide, ask us to send you free written information about our qualifications and experience." Florida Rules of Professional Conduct Rule 4-7.2(d) (1997).
Davis and Stephenson, P.L.'s offices are in Orlando, Florida. Our address is on the top of the page. Our attorneys practice law primarily in the Central Florida region, and sometimes throughout the State. Our attorneys only practice law in the state of Florida. If you have a case outside of Florida, you will unfortunately have to seek an attorney who practices in that jurisdiction. Please see our links section for possible recommendations. If you live outside the State of Florida, but have a case inside the State of Florida, we of course can handle your case.

You authorize disclosure of the information to us by submitting the form to our lawfirm. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about any of our clients, except that permitted or mandated by law.
