Attorney Bio

Attorney Chris Stephenson grew up in the Orlando area, receiving his high school diploma from Lake Highland Preparatory School. After graduating as third in his class with the distinction of Grand Marshall, Mr. Stephenson attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an educational institution consistently ranked among the top 25 national universities, and top 10 public universities. Mr. Stephenson graduated from UNC with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Mr. Stephenson continued his educational endeavors at the prestigious Boston College Law School , also consistently ranked among the top 25 law schools nationally. Mr. Stephenson received a number of grants for public interest work, as well as being awarded with opportunities to work with Boston's poor to provide legal aid in housing, social services, and immigration law. Mr. Stephenson served as a board member for the Holocaust Human Rights Project, a team designed to bring human rights abuse to the forefront of the school's political agenda.

Throughout Mr. Stephenson's law school and legal career, he has consistently worked for those in need with great success. He has flown into native Alaskan villages on the island of Sitka to assist in spreading legal services to those most in need; he has traveled to remote areas of the island of Kauai to help in the investigation of a Native Hawaiian legal claim; Mr. Stephenson has often found few boundaries to seeking justice.

Mr. Stephenson has recently won such awards as the "Legal Eagle" award for the top legal mind in his last law firm, one of the largest public defender offices in the Southeastern United States. He also received the "Extra Mile" award for the most dedicated attorney to the pursuit of justice and to the needs of his clients.
